Using A Natural Gout Treatment: Do Gout Supplements Really Work?

Gout typically affects men between the ages of 40-50 and generally results in painful attacks in the joints due to the accumulation of uric acid crystals. However, men are not the only ones affected by gout as it can also affect women, those that are obese, smokers, and those that drink alcohol frequently. Gout can also affect patients that are taking specific types of medication.

The first symptoms of gout usually appear in the big toe and results in mild to extreme pain, redness and swelling. While these symptoms will subside over time, unless they are treated they will begin to heighten, which may result in more painful and longer lasting gout attacks.

While there are prescription medications available, many of those affected by gout choose to treat their conditions naturally. Fortunately, most reputable natural gout treatments contain ingredients which have been proven to alleviate the symptoms of Gout. These ingredients help reduce the amount of uric acid accumulation in the joints, as well as help boost the immune system.

If you have been diagnosed with Gout, please take the time to carefully consider your treatment options. If you choose a natural gout treatment, be sure that the product you choose lists their ingredients so that you can take the time to research their effectiveness.

Diet

While medical treatments will help lower your uric acid levels, it is also important that you avoid foods that are high in purines. This is because purines lead to the accumulation of uric acid crystals which in turn lead to Gout. Typical foods that have high levels of purines include organ meats such as kidneys, sweetbreads, and liver. Other foods that are high in purines include seafood such as sardines and mackerel.

However, not all foods that are high in purines will lead to gout. Some of the food items that are high in purines, but are still extremely healthy include peas and mushrooms as well as other vegetables.

It is very important to examine your diet if you have developed gout. This is to ensure that you are not only avoiding foods that are high in purines, but also that the foods you are eating will help control your gout. There are a multitude of free nutritional charts which detail purine levels.

Exercise

While this may go without saying, regular exercise is essential in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The more you exercise, the more your health and immune system will improve. Once your immune system improves, your body will be better equipped to handle gout attacks as well as to help disperse uric acid crystals.

However, before you leave your computer after reading this and go for a run, you may want to consult with your physician to ensure that your exercise regiment is appropriate for your age and physical condition.

Supplements

In lieu of traditional gout treatments, many people choose to use a natural gout supplement. This is because gout supplements are not only safe in that they contain all-natural and safe ingredients, but also because natural gout supplements are often much less expensive than prescription gout medications.

Some of the benefits of using a natural gout treatment such as a gout supplement include the potential for the lowering of uric acid crystals, the promotion of a healthy kidney function, and an increase in the immune system function. Gout supplements may also help prevent cellular damage.

Therefore, if you have gout, be sure to explore all your options including using safe gout supplements. As previously stated, you should also address your diet and exercise routine to ensure you receive the full effects from the gout treatment of your choice.

Gout Symptom Relief – Gout Symptoms, Causes & Treatment

Fast, effective gout symptom relief is what all gout sufferers seek. And in Gout Symptom Relief you’ll discover gout symptoms, causes, and, treatment that you can do from home using natural gout treatments that will relieve the symptoms of gout without the nasty side effects of many drug-based gout remedies.

Gout Symptom, or rather, Gout Symptoms

The common symptoms of gout are; swelling, hot to touch, inflammation, redness, and excruciating pain in joints. This occurs mostly in the big toe and foot, but it can be the ankle, knee, or any other joint.

Gout Symptoms Causes

Any gout symptom is caused by uric acid crystals that have formed in your joints. These occur when there is an excess of uric acid in our bloodstream. And uric acid is a byproduct of the breakdown of chemicals called ‘purines’ in our body. Purines occur naturally in our body cells and in foods.

Gout Symptom Relief Using Natural Gout Treatments

Gout symptom relief can be achieved through mainstream drug-based treatments, but these can have pretty nasty side effects like nausea, sickness, diarrhea, etc. As a result, gout victims are increasingly turning to well established natural gout treatments. Here are several treatments that have been found to be effective in gout symptom relief…

1. Drink lots of water, preferably 10 to 12 eight-ounce glasses every day, to flush excess uric acid from your body.

2. Don’t eat red meat, offal, poultry, shellfish, mackerel, sardines. They are purine-rich which is a key factor in the causes of gout. Uric acid which actually causes your gout symptoms comes from the breakdown of purines in food.

3. Eat fresh vegetables and fruit; but not asparagus, mushrooms, or cauliflower. Green leafy vegetables.

4. Eat foods high in vitamin C and vitamin E. Multi-vitamins can be helpful.

5. Eat high-fiber foods to help flush out your body.

6. Eat lots of cherries, strawberries and blueberries. Cherries are fantastic for gout relief.

7. Drink apple cider vinegar. You can also apply it topically. It’s good for lowering uric acid levels and pain relief.

But, as well as gout symptom relief, you really need to consider a more wide-ranging treatment regime that will prevent your gout returning. Did you know that persistent recurring gout attacks can lead to permanent joint damage and possible kidney problems down the line?

Part of the reason is that in focusing on gout symptom relief and not the root causes of gout you are likely to repeat the same mistakes over and over again. There are many other things to consider such as body pH levels, family history, general health, weight, medications, etc. So this time around, as well as getting rid of the gout symptoms, you might want to consider exploring just how to stop it returning. After all, prevention is always better than cure.

You can do all this work yourself, but, fortunately, there is a fully-researched and proven online gout report that you can get your hands on right now. All the work has been done for you, you just have to follow what it says. Thousands of satisfied former gout victims around the world have done just that and achieved complete gout symptom relief.

Its easy, step-by-step approach will lead you to a guaranteed, totally natural, home-based remedy that is right for you. And it includes a special 2 hour gout relief program for folks suffering gout pain right now. If this is you or a loved one then this could be just what you or they need.

What Are Some Good Treatment Options For Gout?

I’ve had battles with gout off and on for a couple of years. I don’t know why but the attacks always get worse when the weather warms up even a little bit. I never have an attack in the winter. I quit drinking so that should help. I haven’t seen anything about drinking soda but I swear that when I drink soda my gout gets real bad. I can’t take antiinflammatory drugs and this other medicine I’ve taken in the past takes the pain away but makes me sicker than a dog. The only thing that seems to help is cherry juice but I can only find it at the health food store for like $16 and it only lasts a couple of weeks. The cababage leaf thing was nasty and didn’t do anything for my foot. I’ve had gout so bad I couldn’t even walk from my car to the pharmacy to get my medicine. My question is what else works? Do I have to drink the actual cherry juice or could I take some sort of capsule? If you’ve had gout what has worked for you to prevent or cure the symptoms?

Gout! the Cause, the Symptoms, and the Natural Treatment

“Ouch” It’s midnight and you are awakened by a horrific pain shooting through your big toe. The throbbing toe is red and swollen and feels as if it’s on fire. If you or a loved one can relate to this experience, chances are likely that you suffer from gout. Numerous questions plagued your mind like “Can I survive another night with this pain?”….so we narrowed down your most important questions on gout and answered them! What is gout? What are the symptoms of gout? What causes gout? Am I at risk for gout? Is there a natural treatment for gout? Keep reading to begin the road to recovery! And guess what, it’s only 2 hours away!

What is gout?

Simply put, gout is a form of arthritis that often occurs in the middle of the night. Often labeled the ‘disease of kings’ gout haunts over 2 million Americans annually. Gout is also known as the most painful types of arthritis. Gout results when needle-like crystals of uric acid form in the body’s connective tissue or lodge themselves in the space between two bones or joints. These uric acid crystals inflame the surrounding area and lead to gout’s symptoms: Heat, Pain, Redness, Stiffness, Swelling, Arthritis attacks that develop in short time period (e.g., 12-24 hours), and Arthritis Attacks to one joint. Typical joints affected by gout include: elbows, fingers, heels, instep, and wrists. To view some photos of gout sufferers please click on our link below. Unfortunately, this is not all of the symptoms. Gout can also cause high blood pressure and kidney stones if left untreated. These symptoms can also be life-threatening if left untreated.

But why do I suffer?

The Cause of Gout

To answer what causes gout? We need to understand how uric acid appears in the body. You see, uric acid is actually a byproduct of a very necessary part of your body’s normal function. However, gout sufferers often have higher levels of uric acid (called hyperuricemia) caused from the body’s inability to break down the uric acid. The uric acid is typically eliminated from the body through the urine. If, however, you suffer from gout, the build up of uric acid crystals can find their way to joint spaces where they will cause painful inflammation that appear as lumps under the skin and can even disrupt the functioning of the kidney and cause the formation of kidney stones. Gout can cause serious damage quickly, it is extremely important that you treat your gout immediately.

Who’s at risk for Gout?

Why could you be suffering from the horrific pain of gout? There could be various factors but here is what typically increases uric acid in the blood causing the gout:

1. Lifestyle: From eating to drinking to weight, your lifestyle – particularly your diet – can greatly affect your chances of getting gout.

2. Alcohol: More than two drinks a day for men and one drink a day for women – can quickly lead to gout. Especially, stay away from beer.

3. Overweight: People who weigh 30 pounds or more than their model weight risk getting gout simply because there is more tissue available for breaking down the uric acid. Diets rich in purine food can also increase your chances for gout. For more information, please check out our report at our link below.

4. Medical Conditions: Various medical conditions can also increase your chances of gout. Do you have any of the following: high blood pressure (hypertension), diabetes, hyperlipidemia (high levels of fat or cholesterol in blood), arteriosclerosis (narrowing of the arteries), recent surgery or bed rest, and recent chemotherapy?

5. Medications: Are you currently on any of the following medications which may cause gout: diuretics (for hypertension, edema and heart disease), anti-inflammatory medicines with salicylic acid (such as aspirin), niacin (also called nicotinic acid) and a few others. It is noted, please do not stop taking these medications before talking with your doctor.

6. Family History: One out of every four people afflicted with gout have a family history with gout.

7. Age and Sex: Men are most often affected with gout as well as women who have reached menopause. Men typically develop gout between the ages of 30 and 50.

Understanding what places you at risk of the disease is an important step in taking control of your health and life. Gout can be naturally treated or be deadly in some cases. So that brings up the question, how do you treat gout naturally?
